Nick Harris is a UK born and based illustrator of children’s books.

He’s been a full time freelancer since 1982.

To the first Nick Harris on-line portfolio, away from the various forums he likes to frequent.

Most of his time is spent in producing artwork for children’s books - a process which he has done digitally since around 2002.    The bulk of his output involves figure work drawn straight from his imagination without reference.

Are divided into Digital and Real Media categories,  which more or less separates the newer and older work too.

You may have seen his work in titles like Usborne’s ‘Dragon Quest’, Doubleday’s ‘Firework Maker’s Daughter’and the recent Templar publishing title ‘Mythology’.

WIP & unfinished work.

Apologies for the poor navigation to it.

ArtRage3 software release has been slightly delayed while beta testing continues - but it will be well worth the wait.  I’m in the beta test group and there are some great new features in it to enjoy.

Meanwhile I’ve been busy, busy, busy, but can’t show much u ntil the work is out in the shops, unfortunately.  Here’s a  quick, small dragony piece I did to support an editorial though.  I’ll stick it int he gallery later  on.

I’m doodling around with several ideas, but there’s a way to go yet.  This started as my Drawing Day Doodle.
